Ascend offers a hotel alternative one block from our downtown Chicago training facility on Michigan Avenue. The building was built in 1924, and completely rehabbed in 2006. Our 2 bedroom condo features balcony view of Buckingham Fountain, doorman with locked elevator access, and 1 parking spot. The condo is equipped with high speed internet, cable television, and a kitchen. A rooftop deck has a wonderful view of Navy Pier.

The History of our Building

The famed Strauss Building was designed by Burnham successors Graham, Anderson, Probst & White. We are proud that Mr. Probst was the Great-Grandfather of our Vice President of Client Relations, Gretchen Minx.

The glass beehive ornament at the top of the pyramid contains deep blue light, which is a major part of the Chicago skyline. At Christmas, the light is green. The first building in the city of Chicago with over 30 floors, it is now called Metropolitan Towers, and is the premier luxury condominium complex in the city of Chicago.
