About Ascend Training
I began Ascend Training in 1998 as a solution for all creative professionals to have one centralized place to come for training. Each instructor at Ascend comes to the table with real world experience.
In 1999 in going through the process with Adobe to become an Adobe Authorized Training Facility, I had to really push my case. The policy at the time was that each center had to have at least 2 full-time trainers on staff. My argument was that my goal was not to provide people that trained each and every day, but to have real professionals who are out there using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator in the real world. Luckily, Carrie Cooper (a real gem) at Adobe agreed with me and pushed us through. We really do take our reputation seriously, and our high volume repeat business speaks for itself. In an age where customer service seems like an antiquated idea, we see it as a core part of the training process.
