What is the difference between Captivate and Articulate?

Captivate is an application from Adobe, while Articulate Storyline is from Articulate Global. Adobe Captivate works well with other Adobe apps such as Illustrato and Photoshopr. For example, you can import a graphic from Adobe Illustrator and can round-trip images without having to re-import them. You can also publish directly from Captivate toan Adobe Connect online classroom.

Articulate Storyline has the ribbon navigation in PowerPoint, so if you’re a current PowerPoint user, that will have a familiar feeling right off the bat.

Which is better for mobile devices?

Adobe Captivate has added “Adobe Captivate Draft” for iPad, so you can storyboard on the go. You can add multiple slides and images from your iPad library and collaborate with others. Captivate has Responisve Learning Projects to design fluid experiences on any device or desktop.
