Chicago Area Adobe User Group: Third Mondays
Join the Chicago Area Adobe User Group on third Monday of every month at Ascend. The topic will be announced this week. This free event will be held at the Ascend Chicago Loop location at 410 S. Michigan Avenue. Networking and pizza begin at 5:30, presentation begins at 6:30. The AUG meetings are a great way to network with fellow Adobe users and learn from the top professionals in the industry.

Adobe AIR, Adobe Integrated Runtime: Building Desktop Applications using Flex
This 2-day course will include everything you need to get started building applications with Adobe AIR. Students learn to use this cross-operating system runtime to connect the desktop to the web to seamless deploy across operating systems. Flex developers will learn to create rich applications for deployment on the desktop. Learn how to interact with the windowing API and file system, drag and drop to the desktop, handle data persistence, and more. We'll also discuss how to easily package and distribute AIR applications.

Online: Adobe AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) Level 1
This 2-day AIR course enables students to create Integrated, Deployable, Multi-platoform Applications from start to finish. This online class is for developers who want to use AIR and Flex to develop for the desktop. Students who take this online class receive a $150 credit toward a hands-on class at Ascend.
