Online, Interactive Training
Online: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Level 1
This online class is for all levels of Photoshop users. Those new to Photoshop will get up to speed quickly, and seasoned users will fill holes in their knowledge. Students will learn about resolution, file formats, layers, channels, masking and more. Full projects are completed from start to finish, and ample time is allotted for student/teacher interaction. Students that take this online class receive a $150 credit toward any hands-on classes at Ascend.
Online: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Level 2
This online class is for those who are familiar with Photoshop and who want to take their knowledge to the next level. Students learn about Retouching, Masks and Channels, Vector Drawing, Color Correction, 3D effects and more. Building upon current Photoshop skills, students learn to take advantage of the more intricate aspects of Photoshop. Students who take this online class receive a $150 credit toward any hands-on class at Ascend.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Level 1: Fundamentals to Intermediate
This class is for all levels of Photoshop user. Seasoned users may wish to take this class to fill in "holes" or rid themselves of bad habits in their Photoshop usage. Students will learn about Photoshop Layers, Smart Objects, Text, Gradients, Adjustment Layers and more. This workshop covers the advanced features of Photoshop.You will learn to use Levels & Curves to correct color & tonal range, create Layer Masks & Vector Masks, use the History Brush, create Actions & Batch Process files, work with Alpha Channels, properly use Device Central, use Auto Align to create panoramas, and more!
Adobe Photoshop CS4 for Digital Photographers
This course is designed to help companies and individuals learn the required skills to start making their own photographs for commercial use. We’ll cover the subjects of choosing the right camera for the job, how to light and photograph both flat artwork and 3-D artwork, why and how to work in camera raw, how to color manage your workflow, and how to prepare photographs to go to press.

Hands-on, Live, 1-Day Classroom Training
A one-day quickstart course in Photoshop to get you up to speed in no time! Students who take an Adobe Quickstart course will receive a 50% credit toward a two-day Photoshop InDepth course. Adobe Quickstart courses are a great way to get total-immersion exposure to Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS4 and stay productive at the same time.
Adobe Photoshop Quickstart Training: One Day Photoshop CS4 Introductory
This 1-day Quickstart class will cover the basics of pixel based editing and image manipulation in Photoshop CS4. You will learn to create precise selections and work with Layers. You will learn about JPG, GIF, TIF and PSD files and manipulate and create images.Students taking this class have a 50% credit
towards the more in-depth 2-day Photoshop Level 1 workshop.
