This is a two-day course introducing students to the Final Cut Pro main features set and basic interface. Students will learn to perform basic editing functions while getting exposure to the user interface. In this 2-day, hands-on class, students will be introduced to the main features UI of Final Cut Pro. Students who are familiar with the Avid tool set and functions will find that their knowledge will transition well to the Final Cut Pro environment. Students will explore Final Cut Pro editing techniques for: capture, sound, bin and sequence development, Final Cut Pro's extensive array of effects, real time color-correction and hundreds of handy tips, tricks and shortcuts.
This class will teach students over the course of three days how to execute advanced editing and finishing techniques in Final Cut Pro. This class is for students who wish to have a greater understanding of and facility with Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, the applications that make up Apple's productivity suite iWork. Students will learn to create professional, seamless presentations using Keynote, Apple's answer to Powerpoint. Additionally, the class will cover Pages, Apple's premier word-processing applications, learning its templates, file-managing tools, and ease-of-use attributes, as well as Numbers, the full-featured spreadsheet application which makes up the final third of the suite.
