Explore the more advanced features in creating sophisticated documents for print, web, and tablets. Learn more advanced styling such as nested styling, complex layout functionality and more. Prerequisite: InDesign Part 1 class or SOLID, daily working knowledge of InDesign. This class builds on concepts taught in the Part 1 class and introduces new skills and shortcuts to the seasoned InDesign user.

Adobe InDesign Training

Adobe InDesign is a publishing application used to produce publications for web, print, and digital. It is used to create brochures, catalogs, eBooks, apps and more. It closely integrates with Photoshop and Illustrator to incorporate graphics from each application.

I use Photoshop and Illustrator. Do I need InDesign also?

InDesign is essential if you are creating a multi-page document or app. It does an excellent job of managing text and is able to import graphics from Illustrator and Photoshop.

I’ve been using InDesign for a while. Where should I start?

InDesign has changed quite a bit, so if you’re self-taught and haven’t kept up on all the latest tips, Level 1 is a good place to start. If you want to broaden your current skills, Level 2 looks at more advanced features of InDesign.
